Russia ( KNN ) : Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi will oversee the summit and the economic forum (The Russian-African summit and Russia-Africa Economic Forum).
The summit will discuss a wide range of common issues, including the status and prospects of relations between Russia and the African continent, the development of ties in the political, economic, humanitarian and cultural fields, focusing on the search for ways to accelerate and orderly development of all types of Russian-African cooperation, as well as an in-depth exchange of views on measures to counter terrorism. Transnational crime and other challenges and threats to regional and global security.
The two-day summit is scheduled to be attended by leaders of 43 African countries, in addition to representatives from 11 countries at the level of vice-presidents, foreign ministers or ambassadors.
The “Russia-Africa” summit in Sochi, Russia, on October 23-24, is the first of its kind in terms of the level of the event in Russian-African relations backed by the African Union this year, according to an official statement of trade representation.
This Summit must be a chance for African leaders to think better for our Continent as they will see more development and in Russia by them selves .
